Nathan Lukes is back with the big club.

The Blue Jays recalled Lukes from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, and he will be active for tonight's game against the Astros. In a corresponding move, Toronto optioned outfielder Jordan Luplow to the Bisons.

Lukes broke camp with Toronto, earning a spot on the Opening Day roster and appearing in three games as a pinch runner and substitute defender. He is yet to receive an at-bat at the MLB level and was optioned back to Triple-A before Toronto's series in Los Angeles earlier this year. In six games with the Bisons, after he was sent down, Lukes hit .333 with five walks to one strikeout.

Luplow will return to Triple-A after two starts and four games with the Jays. He failed to get a hit in seven plate appearances, walking once.
