Marcus Semien discussed the impact his mother had on his work ethic
Marcus Semien met with the media Friday, coming off winning the MLB Player of the Month award for his success in May. Semien discussed his progression over the season, coming to Toronto, and key figures who influenced him as a person and ballplayer.
Semien said his mother taught him his work ethic and the sacrifices that parents make every day.
"As a parent now, our kids have mom and dad in the house at all all times, but doing it on your own is a bit tougher," Semien said.
