With the Diamondbacks set to kick off a four-game series, they've announced a series of moves.

Kelly, 28, was set to be the primary catcher at the start of the season, but a fractured forearm suffered on a hit-by-pitch in the final week of Spring Training caused him to miss roughly 10 weeks. In his absence, young catcher Gabriel Moreno had started 45 of 65 games behind the plate. Moreno had done an admirable job, hitting .281 with two home runs in 179 plate appearances.

Mantiply, 32, is coming off the injured list for the second time this season. Left shoulder fatigue delayed the start of his season, then he suffered a right hamstring strain warming up in the bullpen on May 9th. So far this season, Mantiply has appeared in eight games, pitching to a 2.35 ERA in 7 2/3 innings.

Lewis, 27, made the Opening Day roster and appeared in six games. He hit .167 with a home run, but was placed on the injured list with an illness on April 10th. Lewis was acquired by the D-backs in November in exchange for catcher/outfielder Cooper Hummel. With Emmanuel Rivera and Evan Longoria performing well against left-handed pitching, there weren't any at-bats for Lewis in the big leagues.

Herrera, 26, stepped up in the backup catcher role in Kelly's absence. In 21 games (20 starts), he is hitting .255 with six RBI and a .671 OPS. Beyond just the surface numbers, he has delivered some big at-bats that didn't show up in the box score. He'll get more reps in Reno as a quality depth option behind the plate in case of an injury.

Ginkel, 29, opened the season in the bullpen and has done a solid job eating up innings. In 25 appearances, he posted a 2.76 ERA in 29 1/3 innings with 26 strikeouts and 9 walks.

Misiewicz, 28, was acquired by the D-backs back in March and appeared in seven games. He had a 5.63 ERA, allowing five runs on 11 hits, three walks, and six strikeouts over eight innings.
