D-backs Roster

Arizona will send 26 prospects, 19 of whom rank on our Top 30 list, to participate. Their roster consists of 10 pitchers, two catchers, seven infielders, and seven outfielders. Top 5 prospects Jordan Lawlar, Druw Jones, Tommy Troy, and Yu-Min Lin headline the group of players.

A couple recent changes to the D-backs roster are left-hander Blake Walston and right-hander Cristian Mena have been removed from the roster and replaced with Justin Martinez and Will Mabrey. Martinez is pretty well known, for his 100+ MPH fastball and filthy splitter, with poor control. Mabrey was a sixth rounder in the D-backs 2022 draft with a fastball that's 89-91 MPH with a swing-and-miss slider.

It's unclear how the D-backs will deploy their pitching, although the defense should be relatively straightforward. Arizona has 16 position players, so they'll have the ability to get them all on the field at some point during the game. They might not be able to use all their pitchers given the limited number of innings available and how many guys go more than one inning.
