The celebrities seem to be gracing the Texas Rangers mound on the regular these days.

Just in June alone, Eva Longoria and Joe Jonas have thrown out first pitches at Rangers games at Globe Like Field. The popular performers were both cheered on mightily and created memories for their legions on fans, all while wearing Rangers jerseys.

But who did it better?

While not a competition, the act of throwing out the first pitch does elicit a response from the crowd on hand and the social media audience. And it often has nothing to do with the quality of the “pitch.”

No one is expecting a Nolan Ryan special.

Below, we present the offerings from the Desperate Housewives actress and “Cake by the Ocean” singer for you to judge. Please feel free to grade on a scale of enthusiasm, delivery and, well, whatever you want.

While there is a definite difference in their responses after letting the ball fly, both appeared to enjoy the moment in their own way. And, more importantly, Rangers fans enjoyed it, too.
