76ers vs. Pacers: Tobias Harris Playing Status on Thursday

The Sixers will be without Tobias Harris on Thursday night.

On Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Indiana Pacers as they look to extending their ongoing winning streak to seven games, while also getting the upper hand in the season series against Indiana.

The Sixers come into the match off of a win against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, a match that gave fans their first look at the match up between Joel Embiid and Victor Wenbanyama.

Embiid would give the French phenom a warm welcome, erupting for a career-high 70 points on a lethal 58-percent from the field, while Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris put up meaningful numbers, combining for 32 points.

While two of the three heads were listed as healthy prior to Thursday night's match, that being Embiid and Maxey, the same couldn't be said for Harris, who was downgraded to questionable prior to tip-off due to an illness.

It appears that Harris will be sidelined for Thursday night's match due to that illness, marking only his second missed game of the season, proving to be a cornerstone for Nick Nurse and Philadelphia so far this season.

That goes beyond his dependability, as the veteran has been on another level since the start of the new year, averaging 19 points on 51 percent shooting in January, which is more than he was prior.

Elsewhere on Philadelphia's bench will sit Marcus Morris Sr, who will remain out due to plantar fasciitis, which kept him out of Monday night's match as well.

The Sixers are set to take on the Pacers on Thursday night, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST.
