After conquering top rookie Victor Wembanyama, Giannis Antetokounmpo looks to hurdle another rising big man when the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. 

Giannis figured in a thrilling duel with Wemby on Thursday night, coming up with a 44-point, 14-rebound performance that helped the Bucks defeat the San Antonio Spurs 125-121.

Vic stood his ground in his first duel with Giannis, tallying 27 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks. Antetokounmpo had the last laugh in that showdown with Wembanyama as he helped the Bucks tally their first win of the year after enduring back-to-back losses against the Indiana Pacers.

Battle of the Bigs

Up next for Giannis is Alperen Sengun, who has been playing solid for the Rockets this season. Sengun is leading Houston in scoring with 21.5 points a game, as well as in rebounding with 9.0 boards per match. Milwaukee won in its first meeting with Houston on December 17th, 128-119.

Greek Freak finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds, and three assists in the win.Rockets center piled up 20 points, eight boards, five assists, an assist, and a block in the loss.

Playing the final assignment of a three-game road trip, the Bucks are 25-10 in the season and 9-7 on the road. The Rockets are 17-16 and have been pretty solid on their home floor, where they have gone 14-6 so far.

Injury report

Dillon Brooks (oblique) is expected to sit out for the Rockets. He missed his fifth straight game on Friday night when the Rockets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 95-122.

Tari Eason (leg) is listed as day-to-day for the Rockets.

The Bucks will continue to miss Jae Crowder due to left adductor surgery.
