The Milwaukee Bucks eye a quick recovery when they play the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night at Barclays Center. Milwaukee stumbled in its last outing when it bowed down to the New York Knicks, 122-129, in their Christmas Day duel at the Madison Square Garden.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard each scored 32 points, but the Bucks still couldn’t get a win in their sixth-straight Christmas Day appearance. The Bucks are 1-1 in their current four-game road trip.

They started the road trip with a 130-111 thrashing of the Knicks before faltering in their quick rematch as part of the NBA’s five-game Christmas Day duels. Milwaukee will end the road trip in Cleveland to take on Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers.

Bucks eye 2nd-straight win against the Nets

The loss to the Knicks ended the Bucks’ season-high seven-game winning streak, but they remained in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 22-8 record.

Milwaukee and Brooklyn are meeting for the second time this season. In their first meeting on November 6th, the Bucks rallied from a 10-point deficit to chalk up a 129-125 victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo collected 36 points and 12 rebounds in the win, while Cam Thomas had 45 for the Nets. Brooklyn is on a two-game winning streak. They are in the 11th spot in the East with an even 15-15 record. The Nets are 9-7 at home, while the Bucks are 6-6 so far on the road.

Injury report

Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable due to right calf injury management, while Jae Crowder will still be out for the Bucks after undergoing a left adductor surgery.

Lonnie Walker IV (hamstring) and Ben Simmons (back) are out for the Nets.
