The NBA recently released the schedule for the upcoming NBA In-Season Tournament, which tips off on November 3rd. The Milwaukee Bucks have been bracketed in Group B alongside their first-round tormentors, the Miami Heat, and another playoff participant, the New York Knicks. The other two teams are the rebuilding Washington Wizards and the Charlotte Hornets.

Payback time

The Bucks were at the wrong end of one of the biggest upsets in NBA Playoffs history when they fell to the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the first round last season. Milwaukee will surely have November 28th encircled on their calendar as they’ll get to battle the Heat once again.

The team has made a few changes to their roster over the off-season, notably acquiring sharpshooter Malik Beasley and big man Robin Lopez. They’ll hope that these additions will help them exact revenge on the Heat and gain some momentum ahead of what'll be a competitive season in 2023-2024.

No pushovers

The rest of the teams the Bucks will have to do battle with are no pushovers, either. The Knicks will parade Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, while the Hornets will be led by young star Lamelo Ball. The Wizards, meanwhile, will be led by a new core frontline by former Golden State Warriors ace Jordan Poole. The team with the best record in the group stage will move on to the quarterfinals.
