Giannis probable to play vs. Indiana Pacers, Khris Middleton is questionable, Jae Crowder is out

It appears Giannis is ready to return to the floor for the Bucks.

After missing their last game, it seems that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable to play against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. However, fellow All-Star Khris Middleton is listed as questionable due to knee injury management. Forward Jae Crowder will miss the game as he tries to get back to 100% following a left calf injury.

Long injury report

It is not unusual to see so many players listed on the Bucks' injury report this late in the season, especially after such a successful campaign. Giannis sat out the last game against the Detroit Pistons as a precautionary measure since he's already missed a handful of games this season due to a knee injury.

With the Greek Freak and Jrue Holiday sitting out, Middleton stepped up and handled the scoring tasks, pouring in a season-high 34 points against the Pistons. The veteran wingman, though, is questionable for the Pacers game as the team continues to manage his availability to ensure full recovery from his knee injury.

After making his season debut in the last game, veteran guard Goran Dragic is also probable to play, which is key as he tries to acclimate himself to the team's offense and defense.

Payback against the Pacers

Milwaukee has an axe to grind against Indiana, especially after the Pacers defeated them the last time they met, 139-123. Seven players scored in double-figures in that game for a Pacers squad that did not have All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton.

Although the Bucks' core of Giannis, Jrue, and Middleton all played, Milwaukee shot themselves in the foot by giving up 13 points off of 12 turnovers.

With the Boston Celtics chasing them for the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks cannot afford to slip against Indiana. Milwaukee will be looking to take advantage of a Pacers team that will not have Haliburton, as well as star center Myles Turner. The two Pacers aces are trying to recover from ankle injuries.
