The free agency period has ground to a halt, with most teams having already filled out their rosters. However, the Milwaukee Bucks still have a roster spot open and could use some help in order to make a deeper playoff push this season. Two available free agents who could increase the Bucks' chances are guard Ayo Dosunmu and big man Christian Wood.

Ayo Dosunmu

From the outside looking in, there's just no more room for Ayo Dosunmu over in Chicago. With the Bulls re-signing Coby White and then adding Jevon Carter to a backcourt that already has Alex Caruso and All-Star Zach LaVine, the former Illinois stud would be the fifth guard in the rotation if he returns to the Windy City.

This presents the Bucks a chance to swoop in and snag the young guard, especially since they lack a legitimate backup point guard. And while Dosunmu's numbers and percentages took a dip this past season, it's far too early to give up on the 23-year-old. Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report explains that Dosunmu can be a solid distributor and defender for any team that lands him.

"Dosunmu might not be a starting point guard, but he's demonstrated an ability to be a secondary playmaker in lineups with ball-dominant wings. His 6'8" wingspan also makes him a tricky defender for opposing guards to get around," Bailey wrote.

Christian Wood

It's certainly odd to see Christian Wood remain unsigned despite having a productive season with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 16.6 points on over 50 percent shooting, along with 7.6 rebounds in just 25 minutes of playing time. Yet here we are, with Wood being linked to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls.

The Bucks present an intriguing potential landing spot for Wood, as it affords him the chance to play for a legitimate contender. Wood's combination of size and athleticism make him an ideal fit in the Bucks' system, as he can stretch the floor as a shooter or create his own offense if need be.

"Wood turns 28 in September. He's heading into his prime and could be playing on a veteran-minimum contract in 2023-24. Whichever team lands him will almost certainly be getting a steal," Bailey said.
