Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most-viewed players on social media this season.

A list released by the NBA showed that the Milwaukee Bucks star forward is the fifth most-viewed on social media this season with 522 million video views.

Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James topped the list with 1.3 billion video views, followed by Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors with 888 million.

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks was third with 736 million, while Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies landed fourth with 653 million.

Also included Included in the top 10 list were Boston’s Jayson Tatum (496 million), Dallas’ Kyrie Irving (374 million), NBA prospect Victor Wembenyama (350 million), Golden State’s Jordan Poole (293 million), and Denver’s Nikola Jokic (253 million).

Fun to watch

Giannis’ inclusion in the lists was somewhat expected as the Greek Freak is fun to watch with his style of plays.

The super athletic forward, known for his ferocity, often terrorizes his defenders with his strong drive to the baskets.

Averaging 31.1 points and 11.8 boards a game, Antetokounmpo powered the Bucks to an NBA-best 58-24 record after the regular season.

That feat allowed the Bucks to earn a home-court advantage in all the playoffs that they will be part of.

Milwaukee’s cornerstone

It is in this season that Giannis became the franchise leader in points (16,280), assists (3,379), and games played (719). He is also the franchise leader in minutes played (23,378) and blocks (907).

To celebrate Antetokounmpo’s career accomplishments, a special ceremony was held during Milwaukee’s final regular season game at the Fiserv Forum.

For someone who plays all-out on a nightly basis, it’s no wonder that millions are viewing Giannis on various social platforms.
