Bucks sign Giannis' older brother to two-year pact

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo to a two-year contract with join his brother, Giannis, according to Shams Charania of Stadium, who also reports the deal is a guaranteed, minimum-salary pact that will pay him $1.5 million in the 2019-20 season.

The 26-year-old spent last season with Panathinaikos, leading it to a second consecutive Greek Basket League championship. Antetokounmpo was the Most Valuable Player of the Greek All-Star Game in 2018 and spent three seasons playing in the G League before that, with Delaware and Westchester.

The 6-foot-7, 205-pound Antetokounmpo played two-games on a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks in the 2015-16 season, averaging 3.0 points in 3.0 minutes. New York selected him with the 51st overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
