Heat agree to contract with undrafted forward Alexander

The Miami Heat have signed forward Kyle Alexander, the team announced in a press release.

The agreement is an Exhibit 10 deal, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Alexander played eight summer-league games with Miami in Sacramento and Las Vegas, averaging 4.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots in 15.9 minutes per game.

The 6-foot-11 Alexander went undrafted out of Tennessee, where he averaged 7.3 points, 6.6 boards and 1.7 blocks in 23.8 minutes per game.

Alexander will be in training camp with the Heat, though he will more than likely head to the team's G-League squad in Sioux Falls.
