Blazers sign power forward Tolliver to one-year contract

Power forward Anthony Tolliver has signed a one-year contract for $2.6 million with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.

Tolliver, 34, averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes in 65 games off the bench for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, shooting 38.2 percent from the field, 37.7 percent from deep and 78.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The 6-foot-8, 250-pound Tolliver went undrafted in 2008, signing with the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 2, 2008.

Tolliver carries career averages of 6.4 points, and 3.4 rebounds in 19.9 minutes in 664 games, all off the bench, with a shooting line of 41.8/37.6/77.2.

The 11-year veteran played four seasons at Creighton before entering the NBA.
