Cavs' Smith: 'Goal stays the same. Try to win a championship'

J.R. Smith of the Cleveland Cavaliers talked with the media after Day 2 of practice Wednesday at the team's facility and said while he is limited right now because of hip soreness, he'll be back to 100 percent soon.

As far as the Cavs' goals this season, Smith said nothing has changed to the four-time defending Eastern Conference champions.

"The regular season is to get ready for the playoffs," he said. "Just because people come in and out don't mean the goal has changed. The goal stays the same -- try to win a championship, that's every year, no matter who is in this jersey and who is not."

While many, including Smith, are still "in this jersey," LeBron James is not.
