Mellow Melo? Nope. Goal in Houston is 'to win a championship'

Perhaps no player in The Association has a reason to have a bigger chip on his shoulder than Carmelo Anthony.

After one season in Oklahoma City, then being traded by the Thunder to the Atlanta Hawks, whom promptly bought him out, allowing him to sign with the Houston Rockets, it's been a tumultuous offseason for the former Syracuse star.

Having landed with Houston, which put up the best regular-season record in the NBA last season and pushed eventual champion Golden State to a Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals, Anthony said his goal for this season is simple:

"To win a championship. We know what we are here for."
