Free-agent swingman Zipser expected to sign with Nets

Reports say the Brooklyn Nets are expected to upgrade their roster, as they are about to come to terms with German-born swingman Paul Zipser on a two-way contract.

The 24-year-old was selected with the 48th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls, but became a free agent last summer, when his contract with the Bulls expired.

EuroHoops.net says that Zipser is back in the States ready to get a deal done.

The swingman played in 98 games in the NBA, putting up 4.7 points per game on 37.0 percent shooting from the field, 2.6 rebounds and just under one assist (0.8) in 17.0 minutes per outing.

Zipser has also played with Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga.
