Spurs sign guard Murray to two-year contract extension

The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard Dejounte Murray to a four-year contract extension, the team announced in a news release.

The deal is worth $64 million, agent Rich Paul told Shams Charania of Stadium.

Murray missed all of last season after tearing his ACL. He averaged 8.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in 2017-18, his second NBA season. He also became the youngest player to be named to the All-Defensive team that year.

The Spurs view the former No. 29 overall draft pick as one of the team's young cornerstones.
