Snyder, Jazz reach agreement on contract extension

The Utah Jazz and head coach Quin Snyder have reached agreement on a long-term contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Snyder, 52, has two years left on his current contract. He was hired in 2014 and has compiled a 227-183 regular-season record, leading the Jazz to the Western Conference playoffs in three straight seasons. The Jazz have reached the conference semis in each of the first two years.

After acquiring point guard Mike Conley Jr. and wing Bojan Bogdanovic, expectations are again high for the Jazz this season.

"Snyder's ability to work in concert with management and his players --- especially in the areas of player development - has been a boon to his success and staying power with the Jazz," Wojnarowski reported.
