Stoudemire agrees to contract with Fujian of China

Former NBA center Amar'e Stoudemire has agreed to a contract with the Fujian Sturgeons of China, as relayed by Emiliano Carchania of Sportando.

Stoudemire, 36, is 6-foot-10 and spent last season with Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel. He worked out for several NBA clubs over the summer.

After starring with the Phoenix Suns from 2002-10, Stoudemire spent time with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. He last appeared in an NBA game in 2016, when he averaged 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 52 appearances with the Heat.

Stoudemire was selected with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2002 draft. He is a six-time NBA All-Star.
