Video shows Lakers’ Rondo spitting on Rockets’ Paul
Video obtained by The Athletic clearly shows Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo spitting on Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul during the Rockets’ 124–115 road win Saturday.
Rondo and Paul exchanged punches before being ejected. The Rockets alleged that Rondo had spit on Paul — a claim the Lakers have denied.
“You don't do that to nobody -- in sports, on the street," Rockets forward Carmelo Anthony told reporters. “That's blatant disrespect. That's unacceptable. ... You don't even see that in the streets, man."
