Wall says Wizards are expecting more out of themselves

John Wall is regarded as one of the top point guards in the NBA.

However, he has never been past the second round of the playoffs in his eight-year career in the league since being the No. 1 overall selection in the 2010 draft out of the University of Kentucky.

Wall, an All-Star in each of the the last five seasons, admits last season, when he appeared in only 41 regular-season games because of knee surgery, was not nearly enough for what he and his Wizards teammates expected to accomplish -- finishing 43-39 in the regular season and being ousted in the first round of the playoffs by the Toronto Raptors in six games.
