Warriors, Celtics favorites in latest NBA championship betting odds

The Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics are heavy favorites to reach the 2019 NBA Finals in the latest championship odds.

As expected, the Warriors have the best odds to win the 2018-19 championship. Golden State has won the last two championships and added All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins this summer. Once he fully recovers from his Achilles injury, Cousins will join Stephen CurryKlay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green in the Warriors' starting lineup.

The Celtics, meanwhile, are next in line. With both Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving expected to be healthy this season, Boston is primed to win the Eastern Conference now that LeBron James is out West. Without Irving and Hayward during the 2018 postseason, the Celtics took James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals, so one would surmise the team will be even more lethal with the two stars back.

On July 6, the Toronto Raptors' odds were 60/1. But after acquiring superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard from the San Antonio Spurs, the Raptors have made a noticeable jump, as they now sit at 12/1.
