D-Wade mentions Cavs' 'darkness' while congratulating LeBron

The fact LeBronJames reached a milestone, while doing so in (another) loss, made the moment bittersweet.

James became only the seventh player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points for his career in a 114-102 loss at San Antonio on Tuesday night, becoming the youngest player to reach the milestone, in the process.

Afterward, his teammate and one of his best friends in the game, DwyaneWade, took to his Instagram account to congratulate James, which is to be expected.

However, one particular sentence jumped off the screen, but here's Wade's entire post and see if you, Loyal Readers, can pick out the money shot, so to speak:

  • dwyanewade30,000!!!! The youngest to do it!!! It was an HONOR to not only be in the building for this moment—but to be on the court as your teammate. In the midst of this darkness that we’re experiencing as a team—THANK YOU for this light!!! Thank you for showing my kids and so many kids around the world that looks up to you—that you can achieve anything you want—as long as you give everything to what you want! #Youabadmfer#brotherhood@kingjames

In case you skipped over it, here's aforementioned money shot:

"In the midst of this darkness that we're experiencing as a team..."

Darkness, indeed. The loss to the Spurs was the Cavaliers' 10th in their last 13 games, all since Christmas Day.

Cleveland (27-19) will host the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
