Darius Garland Reacts To Cavs Comeback Win Against Mavericks

Darius Garland makes a post on X after the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Dallas Mavericks.

Darius Garland has been sidelined for the last six games after fracturing his jaw. He's still expected to miss up to a month but has been one of the Cleveland Cavaliers' loudest voices cheering them on.

The Cavs overcame a 20-point deficit on Wednesday night against the Dallas Mavericks which had Garland excited as he watched the game from afar.

This was the message DG posted on X (formally Twitter) right as the final buzzer sounded in the fourth quarter.

Garland was clearly hyped after watching his team win.

The Cavaliers' social media team also posted a picture of a hyped DG on a video call with Caris LeVert and Donovan Mitchell following the win.

This emotion was the same one that every player on the bench and fan at home must have felt as they watched Jarrett Allen and LeVert lock up Luka Doncic at half-court during the final possession of the game.

The Cavs are still a better team when Garland is on the floor. He's averaging 20.7 points and 5.9 assists while shooting 47% from the floor in what can be considered a slight down year for the All-Star guard.

Despite his absence, Cleveland has won five of their last six games against some of the NBA's toughest opponents.

DG will still be out for a while longer so the Cavs will have to continue this hot stretch without him. However, seeing how Garland has been active on the team's bench and a proponent for his teammates, there's no reason to believe he won't continue to cheer them on as he works his way back to the floor.
