The first of the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks game one match was full of scrappy plays, fouls, and a little bit of tension between Jarrett Allen and Julius Randle.

One play summarizes this half the best and that was when Donovan Mitchell went flying into the stands to save the ball from going out of bounds. The play happened with about a minute and a half left in the first half.

Watch it here:

Mitchell appeared to have rolled his ankle or tweaked something as he went flying into the seats because it took him a minute to return to the floor which forced J.B. Bickerstaff to call a time-out.

Spida was clearly hobbling a little bit, but he did the same in the game. This play truly shows Mitchell's playoff experience. He realizes that every possession matters in a close battle and wanted to make sure the Cavs held onto the ball.

Mitchell had a slow start to the game but heated up in the second quarter scoring 12 straight points and finishing the first half with 18. Cleveland will need much more from him if they hope to secure game one of the series.
