Former Boston Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk has reportedly signed a multiyear, $26.25 million extension with the Toronto Raptors, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Olynyk, now in his 11th season, was traded to his hometown, Toronto, from the Utah Jazz on Feb. 8. He was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer prior to coming to an agreement with the Raptors. Olynyk was eligible to sign the extension until June 30.

The seven-footer has averaged 8.2 points, five rebounds, and 4.2 assists, shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 41.8 from three, including 9.6 points in nine games as a Raptor.

Olynyk's 4.2 assists and field goal percentage are career-best, as he is one of six players shooting 39 percent from three and 60 percent on two-pointers this season.

The 32-year-old Canadian native has shot 37.4 percent from three in his last five seasons, with multiple teams having shown interest in the big man at the trade deadline.

Toronto was looking to bolster their front court with Jakob Poeltl when they acquired Olynyk, and the Raptors now have him under contract through the 2025–2026 season.
