Atlanta Hawks at Minnesota Timberwolves Preview
Preview
The Atlanta Hawks enter Wednesday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on little rest. Less than 12 hours ago, Atlanta decimated the Detroit Pistons at home.
However, Minnesota is no young, rebuilding team. Much like Atlanta, the T'Wolves are a team trying to squeeze into the postseason. Both teams have flirted with a .500 record all season and are likely heading to the Play-In Tournaments.
Minnesota has only won one game since beating Atlanta on March 13. The good news is they are getting healthier. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards' return is imminent (full injury report below).
To make matters more challenging, Atlanta will likely be without multiple players on the second night of a back-to-back. But as Hawks head coach Quin Snyder likes to remind everyone, the schedule is part of the NBA.
Regardless of which players are available for tonight's game, it is sure to be a battle between two teams fighting for the postseason.
Injury Report
Minnesota's injury report lists Karl-Anthony Towns (calf), Anthony Edwards (ankle), and Jaylen Nowell (knee) as questionable.
Atlanta has not yet released its injury report. However, Jalen Johnson (hamstring) remains out.
