How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To A Tradeless Deadline Day

The Miami Heat's lone trade of this season was acquiring Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets last month

The NBA trade deadline came and went on Thursday.

A fleury of trades occurred, but none were done by the Miami Heat. The Heat acquired Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets at the end of January. He has averaged 12.6 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in nine games since the trade.

Despite rumors, the Heat did not make another move before the 3 p.m. trade deadline.

Many of the top Eastern Conference teams made improvements at the deadline. The Boston Celtics acquired Xavier Tillman on Wednesday. The Milwaukee Bucks brought in Patrick Beverly. The New York Knicks made a huge splash by trading for Alec Burks and Bojan Bogdanovic.

Some may argue the Heat didn't need to make another deal. Jimmy Butler has recently been on fire. Butler has averaged 24.3 points over his last seven games. He recorded his first triple-double of the season in the Heat's most recent victory.

The lack of a deadline-day acquisition has many wondering how the Heat will finish the regular season. The team brought in Kevin Love after the 2023 trade deadline. Love remains a solid role player for the Heat.

Maybe the hype for the buyout market is  just as exciting on social media.
