How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Bam Adebayo In Win Over The Orlando Magic
Another Miami Heat NBA adventure ended in a thrilling win Friday night against the Orlando Magic.
For a second, it looked like we were going to talk about Magic star Paolo Banchero's big fourth quarter and guard Chuma Okeke's season-high scoring performance.
But to the pleasure of Heat fans, we are instead talking about Bam Adebayo's winning shot to lift Miami to victory. Fans immediately flooded the comment section with memes and instant reactions.
Adebayo finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. His near triple double led fans to continue pushing his All-Star campaign. He ranks No. 3 in scoring amongst centers, trailing only Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid.
It was honestly difficult to find any reactions outside of Adebayo Friday night.
The Heat center was the story of the night, but Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Duncan Robinson deserve their flowers as well. Robinson led the way with 23 points, including six in the fourth quarter. Jaquez Jr. had 19 points, continuing to display why he should be in the Rookie of the Year conversation.
Fans were overall content with their team winning in the absence of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry. The fanbase is seemingly impressed with the team performance...until the Heat lose and they call for Donovan Mitchell or Dejounte Murray.
But for now, they can enjoy this victory and ride it going into their Sunday night game against the Charlotte Hornets (8-28).
