How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Bam Adebayo’s All-Star Game Performance

Bam Adebayo had three points in 16 minutes during Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game

Bam Adebayo did not stuff the stats sheet like many others did during the NBA All-Star Game.

Adebayo made his third appearance Sunday in Indianapolis. He was named as an Eastern Conference starter after Joel Embiid missed the game due to injury. In 16 minutes, Adebayo had three points, two rebounds, and two assists.

Adebayo scored the least amount of points for either team, attempting just two shots. Adebayo’s made a three-pointer that he had inbounded off of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic’s back.

The lack of offense from Adebayo may come as a surprise. The 211-186 East win was the highest-scoring game in league history.

Adebayo's three points are an afterthought when looking at some of the other state lines from the All-Star Game. Karl Anthony Towns had 50 points. The East had three different players score more than 30 points. Adebayo's two attempted shots were also the least by a player in the game. Anthony Edwards was the runner-up with four points on three shots.

At least Adebayo scored points at all. This was the first year since 2021 where all players that touched the court during the All-Star game had scored.

Adebayo is not normally known for his three-point shooting. He has made just one of his 11 attempted triples this season.

The truth is that Adebayo was still an All-Star starter regardless of his performance in the game. He has been one of the best players on a Heat team that has fought for a playoff spot during the first half of the season.
