How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Sunday's Loss To The Boston Celtics

The Miami Heat dropped their third game against the Boston Celtics this season.

The Miami Heat were unable to build their win streak against the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon.

It wasn't for a lack of effort, as they took the league's top team down to the wire without Jimmy Butler and losing Josh Richardson and Terry Rozier early to injury.

Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo combined for 46 points, while Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin and Terry Rozier added solid double digit performances. Unfortunately, the trio of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis nearly all had 20-point double-doubles, while Jrue Holiday added 15 points to round out their All-Star lineup.

Miami dropped their third consecutive matchup against Boston, with their conference title marking their last victory over the Celtics. Many fans coped with the loss by recalling this eastern finals series, claiming the Heat would once again eliminate Boston in the postseason.

"We win this game 10/10 with Jimmy playing," user HeatCulture said. "Celtics needed Rozier/Jrich to be out while the refs helping them to barely beat us. I can’t wait to eliminate these dirty Celtics in the playoffs for the 5th time. Hopefully Rozier/Jrich is healthy soon."

Heat fans weren't too upset, as their team put up a valiant effort that fell short against a top conference rival.

Honestly, it was hard to find Heat fans' reactions amidst the flood of Celtics fans in the Heat Twitter comments.

The Heat play the Milwaukee Bucks (34-19) Tuesday night.
