How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Loss Against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday Night

Miami Heat fans are seemingly giving up on the season.

Miami Heat fans were worried how their team would perform against the Toronto Raptors in the absence of star Jimmy Butler. The result justified a level of concern.

The Heat had their second blowout loss in a row. To be fair, they were without their best player, but most fans did not excuse that. As a matter of fact, they illustrated how Miami underperformed in Butler’s absence. Bam Adebayo got some flack for his performance, and has been the target of criticism since the All-Star break. His latest display was a 21-point performance but he shot less than 40 percent from the field and put up 12 points through three quarters.

There was at least some praise for Tyler Herro, who had a 33-point night in the midst of the blowout. Herro went 13 of 21 (61.9 percent) from the field, while the rest of the team went 19 of 59 (32.2 percent).

“Aye respect to Herro he came to play,” one user said. “Not sure wtf Bam has been doing since the All-Star Break. Hopefully the reporters actually ask him.”

For a moment, it seemed like fans were ready to give their team a chance after winning against the New York Knicks Wednesday night. Most of that optimism is sadly gone within the Heat’s social media following after two detrimental losses.

Now, Miami will have to face the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. This contest between the two will have more fire behind it with the Butler-Julius Randle exchange from their last game.

They play New York this Wednesday night.
