How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Win Against the Orlando Magic Saturday Night

Miami once again went toe-to-toe with an underwhelming opponent.

The Miami Heat defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime Saturday night by overcoming a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter.

This followed a last-second victory against the Houston Rockets on Friday.

It’s tiresome to repeat the same narratives but the fanbase makes the same demands every game. Unless Miami beats a top-tier team or takes a commanding lead over a lesser team, they bring up the fact the team didn’t make any new acquisitions,

Then again, it’s hard to dismiss them. Their biggest pleas were for the departure of Kyle Lowry and addition of a legitimate power forward or bigger center. Neither one of those happened, so fans express their discontent on nearly every occasion.

At least the Heat fans in attendance seemed to have a better time than the ones on social media last night. Orlando’s arena was flooded with Heat fans.

Jimmy Butler led the way with 22 points. Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent combined for 43 points, with both having efficient performances in the fourth quarter and overtime. Bam Adebayo had another double-double with 13 points and a season-high 17 rebounds. Lowry, who is still reeling with injury, was replaced by Vincent in the starting lineup. The Heat are now 10-3 without Lowry this season, giving into the narratives fans had about his burden on the team.

The Heat play a much tougher opponent in the Denver Nuggets Monday night.
