How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Wednesday's Loss To The Denver Nuggets

The Heat dropped their fourth consecutive game Wednesday night.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The Miami Heat faced the Denver Nuggets Wednesday night in a 2023 NBA Finals rematch.

And like the Finals, Denver handed the Heat a disappointing loss to extend their losing streak to four games.

Crazy but true: The Heat have just one victory over the Nuggets in the past three years, including the postseason. Despite a strong defensive performance, the Heat were unable to capitalize in the end. Fans were upset to see their team once again fall to Denver.

The offensive stagnation was illustrated in Miami's 23 percent shooting from 3-point range. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo went 13 of 31 from the field for just 32 points. Meanwhile, Terry Rozier and Duncan Robinson shot a combined 11 percent from the arc.

On a night where Nikola Jokic had just 12 points, Michael Porter Jr. once again lit up Miami with a 25-point performance on 56 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Fans are starting to express concern about the Heat's lack of quality victories this season.

"This season the Miami Heat have a 2-16 record against the top 4 teams of each conference, that's my biggest concern compared to last season," writer Naveen Ganglani tweeted. "Their record last year wasn't great either but they still scored big wins against quality opponents. Not so much this year."

The Heat play the Detroit Pistons (12-53) Friday night. Considering their most recent loss to the Washington Wizards, nothing is a guarantee for Miami.
