How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Wednesday’s Loss To The Toronto Raptors

The Miami Heat suffered blowout loss to an impaired Toronto Raptors team.

The Toronto Raptors traded star forward Pascal Siakam just hours before their Wednesday night game against the Miami Heat.

And yet, they were still able to hang a 24-point victory over Miami. The Heat didn’t even get the chance for their typical blown leads Wednesday night, as they fell behind by 23 points in the first quarter and never reciprocated. Unlike Monday night, they weren't able to mount a comeback, and instead continued to just catch up.

Gary Trent Jr. and RJ Barrett combined for 54 points. Trent Jr. shot 89 percent from 3-point range, and the team collectively shot 53 percent from that range.

The starting backcourt of Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro combined for 20 points on 31 percent shooting from the field and 13 percent from the arc. With the Heat's ties to star guards like Terry Rozier, Donovan Mitchell and Dejounte Murray, fans begged the teram to make a move before the trade deadline.

Heck, some fans just asked for small upgrades to improve the guard position.

"It doesn’t have to be Donovan Mitchell but can it at least please be Tyus Jones," one user said.

Herro, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler each had just 16 points, with no one else scoring more than 14. In addition to wanting outside help, fans are missing Jaime Jaquez Jr. in the starting rotation.

The Heat play the Atlanta Hawks (17-23) Friday night.
