How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Wednesday’s Win Over Philadelphia 76ers

The Miami Heat stack another win against a conference rival.

Alas, the Miami Heat are back.

Their Wednesday night victory over the Philadelphia 76ers marked the sixth win in their last eight games. The Sixers were without star center Joel Embiid. However, Miami was missing their own key players in Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier and Josh Richardson.

Maybe they just perform better through adversity.

“6-2 in our last 8 games, got big wins over the Bucks and 76ers without Jimmy/Rozier/Jrich,” user HeatCulture said. “Our offense looks so much better with Duncan in the lineup, our defense is getting better and thank you Jaime for that huge putback. Time to rest up and go on a big run after the break.”

We can’t start anywhere without talking about the 23-point performances from Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. Herro shot poorly from 3-point range but his facilitating and aggressive play paved the way for Miami’s offense, especially in the absence of their backcourt production.

Duncan Robinson’s 20-point performance improved Miami to 10-0 when he scores at least 20 points.

Haywood Highsmith had his second-highest scoring performance of the season with 16 points on four 3-pointers.

Meanwhile, Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 12 points off the bench to round out the scoring in the second unit. While the rookie sensation hasn't been as explosive since his injury, Jaquez has still been a solid contribution to the team's recent success.

The Heat play the New Orleans Pelicans (33-22) Friday night.
