How Miami Heat Twitter Reacted To Tyler Herro's Big Game Against Orlando Magic

Tyler Herro’s 28 points lifted the Miami Heat over the Orlando Magic.

The Miami Heat were without Jimmy Butler against the Orlando Magic Wednesday night.

So instead, fans got to witness a Tyler Herro masterclass that illustrated why he was missed so much. Herro had 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists to solidify the Heat victory after a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He led all Heat players in every statistical category.

After an offseason of trade rumors sending him out of Miami, Herro is proving speculators wrong with a All-Star caliber start to the season.

It wasn’t just Herro though. Right behind him offensively was Bam Adebayo with 18 points, also displaying why fans were missing him in the starting lineup. Miami had seven players in double figures, including Thomas Bryant, Haywood Highsmith and Josh Richardson.

Miami had a 24-point lead with just under 5.5 minutes left that dwindled as the quarter progressed. Even with the Heat’s sizeable advantage, some fans were still concerned the team about the team potentially squandering it.

“3 1/2 quarters of some great basketball,” one user said. “Gotta figure out how to play a full 12 minutes in the 4th but a win is a win nonetheless.”

Even for the victory, fans were still concerned about the team’s inability to close out in the final quarter. It’s been a trend all season that the fanbase wants to see reciprocated.

The Heat play the Atlanta Hawks (12-15) Friday night.
