James Plowright: Celtics 109, Hornets 101.

Big picture, winning this game would negatively impact Charlotte's draft lottery position but I don't expect anyone in the locker room to know or care about that. The Celtics are on the second night of a back to back after losing to the Knicks, I find it hard to believe all their main starters will play the Hornets with the 1st overall seed locked up. Even if Tatum and Porzingis do sit, I think Boston's role players execute to such as a high level they will outplay a Hornets team potentially missing Grant Williams.

Prediction record: 30-11.

Sam Dracula: Celtics 115, Hornets 104.

Boston has had some bad losses this season including that OT loss to Charlotte in November. I don’t see history repeating itself in April but Charlotte is showing some fight to close out this season. I back the #1 seed in a moderately competitive game.

Prediction record: 8-4.

Atticus Ferguson: Celtics 111, Hornets 104.

Even with the Celtics likely sitting some key contributors, going into Boston is never an easy task.  Boston’s reserves are plenty capable of hanging with and defeating teams towards the bottom of the league standings, such as the Hornets. I expect Charlotte to continue to play hard throughout the completion of the regular season, but they’ll fall just short this evening.

Prediction record: 31-7.
