Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets at Spurs

Can the Hornets cover the spread?
In this story:

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Spurs -2.5

2 Star play on the Spurs (-2.5): Although LaMelo Ball could be back in the lineup tonight, it doesn't fix the issues the Hornets have inside. They allowed 62 points in the paint to Sacramento two nights ago and with Mark Williams still out with a back injury, this feels like an impossible feat for Charlotte in terms of having to guard Victor Wembanyama. Lay the 2.5.

Over/Under: 236.5

1 Star play on the under: The under has cashed in four of the last five games for each of these teams and with the amount of key players still out for Charlotte, it's hard for me to back the over. The Hornets have failed to reach 100 points in three of the last five and although I see them crossing that mark tonight, it won't be enough to help us get over the number.

My picks this season

ATS: 9-15 (37%)

O/U: 12-12 (50%)

Overall: 21-27 (44%)

Inside the Hive: Nick Smith Jr. is Taking Advantage of His Opportunity
