Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Star ratings:

1 Star - Not very confident

2 Star - A little confident

3 Star - Fairly confident

4 Star - Very confident

5 Star - Should be a lock to happen

Spread: Celtics -7.5

1 Star play on the Hornets (-7.5): I'll be completely honest with you, I have no idea how this one is going to go, largely because we have no idea which players the Celtics will rest. There's really no point in playing any of the key contributors, but I understand they want to keep their legs fresh to some extent. I'll take the points with the Hornets as they proved the other night they are still willing to fight until the end.

Over/Under: 218.5

3 Star play on the over: The Celtics have one of the best scoring offenses in the NBA and even if they do rest a bunch of folks, it doesn't change my mind on the total. The Hornets have figured some things out on the offensive end of the floor, but are still having some issues defending, particularly in the paint. This could end around 220-222, so although it may not fly over, I lean in that direction.

My picks this season

ATS: 25-27 (48%)

O/U: 26-26 (50%)

Overall: 51-53 (49%)
