Charlotte Hornets Waive Xavier Sneed

The Charlotte Hornets were a little busy Thursday afternoon. Not only did they officially introduce new owners Rick Schnall and Gabe Plotkin, but they made a roster move as well. Moments ago, the team announced that they have waived guard Xavier Sneed.

Sneed spent much of the 2022-23 season with the Hornets' G-League affiliate the Greensboro Swarm before signing a 10-day contract at the end of the season with the big league club. 

In four games with the Hornets, Sneed averaged 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, shooting 50% from the field and from three.
