Draymond Green Lights Into Grant Williams Following Heated Confrontation
As final seconds of Charlotte and Golden State's game ticked down, both teams had stopped playing with Golden State securing a double digit win. With just 12 seconds remaining Warriors guard Lester Quinones broke the unspoken NBA rules and decided to score a basket. That clearly upset Grant Williams who went over to confront Quinones, sparking a confrontation including players and coaches from both teams. The Warriors guard received a double technical while Williams a single technical for "Escalation".
Despite not being direclty involved, Draymond Green felt like he needed to weigh in on the situation during his post-game press conference.
Draymond Green bemoaned Grant Williams "Tough guy (act)" during his post-game media availability with a tirade of jabs. Green called out Williams for "Talking too much" in Dallas and not carrying himself like the Players Association Vice President should. However, he also labelled him a "Nice Guy".
