Miles Bridges Turns Himself into Lincoln County Authorities

Queen City News first reported the news

According to Queen City News Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has turned himself into the authorities in Lincoln County after being issues with a warrant for his arrest.

Bridges is charged with violating a domestic violence protection order, misdemeanor child abuse and injury to personal properties. These charges come following an incident earlier this week which AllHornets.com previously reported on.

Miles Bridges was booked into the detention center before 7am and was given a $1,000 bond, which has been paid. Despite Bridges being out on bond, it is unlikely he will be able to be allowed to enter the Charlotte Hornets practice facility. The NBA and Hornets will likely be unable to act or conduct their own internal investigations until the criminal proceedings are finished. For Hornets fans this is deja vu to the summer of 2022 all over again. It is unclear at this stage what the consequences of a breach of a protection order and additional charges could mean for Bridges availability this season.
