The Former Hornets Point Guard Likes the Panthers #1 Pick

New Panthers QB Bryce Young is Muggsy Bougues approved.

After the Carolina Panthers selected the Heisman-winning Alabama quarterback with the #1 overall pick last Thursday night, the former Hornets point guard took to Twitter to express his delight over the selection.

Bogues is a beloved former player of the Charlotte Hornets, playing from 1988-1997 for the club. Measuring in at 5'3", Bogues is still the smallest player to ever play in the NBA. Bogues played his college ball at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem. The school retired his number a few years after he graduated.

Bogues is still the Wake Forest all-time assists per game leader, averaging 6.6 assists per game during his ACC career from 1983-87.
