Charlotte has struggled against great teams lately, as evidenced by the blowout at the hands of the Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Bucks are a tough matchup defensively, and Charlotte is missing a lot of firepower at the moment. The Hornets have been surprisingly feisty on the road this season, but I still expect them to struggle in this one.
Desmond Johnson: Bucks 114, Hornets 98
The Hornets are in the midst of a long road trip and it doesn't get any easier tonight vs one of the top teams in the East - the Bucks. Giannis is having another MVP-level season and the Hornets simply have no one to guard him. Until the Hornets' young core dedicates itself to team defense and crashing the boards they aren't going to win these games vs top competition. Hopefully, Clifford gives the young talent some run but expect the Bucks in a blowout.
James Plowright: Bucks 128, Hornets 104
The Bucks are a nightmare matchup. The NBA’s best defender in Holiday to shutdown LaMelo, an elite rim protector in Lopez, and, oh, there’s that two-time MVP guy too. I’m predicting this to be as tough as the Memphis game, Charlotte’s confidence seems to be at an all-time low and it feels like they’re beginning to let go of the rope.
