The Hornets are on a five-game skid and now have to play one of the best teams in the entire league. That losing streak isn't coming to an end tonight. Boston's frontcourt will pose some challenges, testing the new one-two punch of Mark Williams and Nick Richards. Charlotte battles, but Boston pulls away toward the end of the third quarter.
Karter Baughn: Celtics 114, Hornets 109
I have no stats to back this up. I think LaMelo gets hot to keep the Hornets in the game and we see great minutes from Mark Williams but the Celtics end up closing it out.
Ian Black: Celtics 118, Hornets 105
The new future-minded lineup sans Mason Plumlee and Jalen McDaniels debuts tonight against the Celtics, and there couldn’t be a harder matchup. Look forward to see more Mark Williams minutes, as we’re about to seeing what he can really do with a long leash and a lot of opportunity.
