Not only are the Pistons young and future-thinking team like the Hornets, but they have lost nine in a row and are majorly banged up. Without Cunningham, Bodganovic, Burks, and some others, the Hornets might be able to pick up one of the few reasonably expected wins left on the schedule.
Nicholas Mullick: Hornets 99, Pistons 96
I expect this game to be a low-scoring game as a large portion of the Pistons are out due to an injury. The Hornets are not the same since LaMelo Ball got hurt but I have them winning in a game where I am not sure either team will score above 100 points.
Austin Leake: Hornets 118, Pistons 109
The Hornets are coming off a big win over the Knicks and the Pistons have lost nine in a row. In some of the losses it almost appears that the Pistons are trying to lose. I expect the Hornets to get win No. 22 tonight.
