Score Predictions for Hornets at Wizards

Our staff picks who will win today's game between Charlotte and Washington.

Matt Alquiza: Wizards 112, Hornets 103

Tonight may be the last time we see this roster as it’s currently constructed. Rumors are flying about Plumlee, Rozier, McDaniels, and a few other guys on the team, and it has to be difficult to block out that noise. The Wizards are on a three-game skid but I expect them to break that slump tonight and easily beat an inferior team.

James Plowright: Hornets 119, Wizards 109

Charlotte finally caught a break in the schedule and managed two days of practice since Sunday's Magic game. I think the Hornets will come out with renewed energy to capitalise on an Wizards team that has lost it's last 3 and could be missing Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. if both of those guys play I would flip this prediction the other way round, but right now I'm going to back the bugs to get the W.

Karter Baughan: Wizards 120, Hornets 115

When you look at their stats, they’re fairly similar. With Charlotte on the road and with guys knowing the trade deadline looming, I think there will be a lack of motivation from certain players that have been mentioned on the trade block. The Wizards have been struggling as of late and I think their losing streak ends tonight.

Nicholas Mullick: Wizards 102, Hornets 99

This is a very important game for both teams as it could help when it comes to draft seeding. Yes I know the Wizards currently have 24 wins and still have a chance at the Play-In Tournament, but they are a very fraudulent team. It its going to be tougher for the Wizards if Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma don't play due to injuries as they both are the best players on this team right now. However, even with both out I am not so sure I can trust the Hornets to seal the deal if they can't beat the Detroit Pistons team where Jaden Ivey is there best player. Also I am still not 100% convinced that LaMelo Ball is fully healed from his injuries. I mean he is playing ball well right now, but he still looks shaky with how he is shooting the ball. I expect this game to be very close, but the Wizards win this game with a last minute three-pointer.
